Fashion Week in NYC
The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is upon us, and for New York City’s fashionistas, designers, and generally stylish population, there’s a lot to look forward to. From September 6 through 13, style awards, model showings, and tons of big names in fashion will be taking over NYC. If you can't score a coveted seat inside the tents for the start of the runway shows this Thursday, don't fret. Most collections will be broadcast on live streams that you can watch right from the official fashion week site. The full schedule is available online. From today, Fashion’s Night Out is kicking off. Now in its fourth year, this is the time when stores across the city stay open late and stay full of celebrities, designers, and exclusive deals on designer duds. Aside from the major department stores, there are hundreds of boutiques across the city that will have cocktails, DJs, giveaways, and mini fashion shows. Our favorite areas to get a taste of Fashion's Night Out? The Meatpacking District, West Village and Soho.We all know that New York is a trendsetter - last year’s Fashion’s Night Out events spread across the world and took place in 14 different countries.
