Applications for the 2016 NY Program at FinTech Innovation Lab
The FinTech Innovation Lab has begun accepting applications for the 2016 New York program; applications are due December 3, 2015. The FinTech Innovation Lab is an annual program run by the Partnership Fund for New York City and Accenture for early and growth stage companies that have developed cutting edge technology products targeted at financial services customers. Through a competitive process, the chief technology officers of the world's leading financial services firms will determine which proposals are accepted for further development and deployment. Winners will get the chance to refine and beta test their financial technology products in New York City in partnership with these firms and to receive mentorship from the Lab’s Entrepreneurs Network.The FinTech Innovation Lab is interested in fintech companies, companies developing disruptive financial service models, and non-fintech/broader enterprise tech companies looking to enter the financial services vertical. There is a particular interest in: big data, analytics and cognitive computing; security and identity management; risk management and compliance; digital marketing and social media tools; cloud enabling technologies; payments; blockchain technology; talent management; and, Internet of Things applications relevant for financial services.The participating firms include: AIG, Ally Financial, American Express, Bank of America, Barclays Capital, Capital One, Citi, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Guardian Life Insurance, JPMorgan Chase & Co., Morgan Stanley, New York Life Insurance, and Wells Fargo. Several venture firms also support the Lab, including Bain Capital Ventures, Canaan Partners, Contour Venture Partners, Nyca Partners, Rho Ventures, RRE Ventures, and Warburg Pincus.There is an information session for potential applicants on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 5:30 – 6:30 PM (sign up on website).
